What is Triptico?

Triptico turns simple lists into classroom activities. Type a list of names, key words or questions once, then open it in a library of activities for retrieval practice, discussion, debate and deeper thinking. Plus activities and full interactive Lessons build on the same idea.

Is Triptico free?

Lists are free forever — create a free account and use every List activity with your classes, no card required. Plus activities and Lessons are part of a paid subscription, and you upgrade from inside your free account whenever you're ready.

Do my students need accounts?

No — students never need an account. Share an activity with a simple link or code and they join instantly, on any device.

How do I share activities with students?

When you share an activity, Triptico gives you a short code and a link. Students choose Students on the home page, enter the code, and they're in — no sign-up, no app to install.

What's the difference between Lists, Plus and Lessons?

Lists is the free core: type a list once and open it in a library of activities.

Plus adds richer activities — images, clues and answers for games, quizzes, sorting and matching, with more control over how each activity works.

Lessons is presentation software made for teachers: build interactive lessons from ready-made templates and embed your List or Plus activities right inside your slides.

What devices does Triptico work on?

Triptico runs in the browser, so it works on laptops, tablets, phones and interactive whiteboards — nothing to install or update.

How much does it cost?

Lists are free forever. An Individual subscription — Plus activities and Lessons for a single teacher — is £2.99 a month or £29.99 a year, with no contract and the freedom to cancel anytime. Department (£79.99/year) and All Staff (£149.99/year) plans cover teams and whole schools.

Do you offer school or organisation licences?

Yes — the All Staff plan gives unlimited teachers at one school access, joining with their school email address. Get in touch via the contact form for an invoice or to set up your school.

Who is behind Triptico?

Triptico is designed and built by David Riley, a former classroom teacher — built by a teacher, for teachers, to solve a real classroom problem: you have the words, questions and prompts, but not the time to turn them into engaging activities.
